The most common practice that goes on is that one person says and others follow. No one really goes to check the facts and blindly believe what is being told to them. I don’t blame the people as these are things that are told and taught to them by their teachers when they are in school. That’s why most of the people here in India blame the education system as most of the teachers don’t check the facts before telling and teaching the students.
I won’t blabber more. So here are the two facts that will probably shock you.
What is the national game of India?
Most of you would say ‘HOCKEY’, as this is what you have been told or taught. But the truth is Hockey is not the national game of India. Isn’t that mind boggling. Even more shocking is that India doesn’t have a national game.
What is the national language of India?
Majority of people believe that Hindi is the national language of India. Again this is not true. India doesn’t have a national language.
Although, the Constitution of India designates 22 official languages. They are as follows:
Hindi and English is used in official purposes as parliamentary proceedings, judiciary, communications between the Central Government and a State Government
Hindi and English are the official languages of the Union
